In conjunction with CompTIA and other industry OEMs, we will be offering a set of training classes for groups and individuals interested in joining the cybersecurity industry, or for those already in cybersecurity roles, to enhance their skill set through various classes and workshops. You'll want to check back frequently, as our course listings will change, and expand. We are starting out with our primary class, the Cybersecurity Bootcamp. This is a 24 week class that introduce newcomers to a variety of topics in Cybersecurity to help them decide what direction they would like to take as they start their career in cybersecurity. This course is designed for those individuals who don't have a traditional background in IT, but want to pivot their careers toward cybersecurity.

The Cybersecurity Bootcamp is also a prep course for Security+
Breaking into the cybersecurity industry can be challenging, especially to newcomers, so along with being a "survey class" in cybersecurity topics, this course also serves as a preparation course for the Security+ certification exam. Though not 100% comprehensive preparation for the Security+ exam, this course comes with an exam voucher, and a license for CertMaster, a test-prep tool that will help guide learning after the class, with sample exams, so the student will be able to take the exam with the utmost confidence and commanding superior knowledge of the material.

This is a live, instructor led course that meets during evening hours, so that students can remain in their current employment while striving to break into the cybersecurity industry. In addition to ever-evolving curriculum content, there are FOUR week-long projects during the semester that students can use to build a portfolio of work to use for their job search, in lieu of traditional backgrounds and experience. If that's not enough, our lead instructor, John Gibson, has close to 30 years in technology, over a decade in Cybersecurity, and many public speaking events, so his lectures are engaging, informative, and draw on decades of industry experience.
